AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Joliet, IL to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. SLPA clinicians must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment while working in a fast-paced setting.School SLPA assignments are typically 9 months in length but can vary from 4 to 26 weeks (about 6 months) depending on the contract. Required Qualifications

Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant, School &bull

Full-Time Hours, Monday-Friday &bull

Bachelors in Speech/Communication Sciences and Disorders or obtain a certificate (or has met educational requirements for position in state of practice) &bull

Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or alternate credential as required by state of practice. &bull

Preferred: ASHA SLPA Certification - C-SLPA &bull

Previous experience with Schools, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics preferred &bull

Clear, articulate communication skills &bull

Completion of a criminal record and background check
