Join our team at Memorial Hermann and contribute to our vision of creating healthier communities. As a Pediatric Radiology Technician, you will perform radiography examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. In addition to x-rays, you may also perform exams in more complex modalities. The position requires working every Friday - Sunday from 7am to 7pm, alternating every other Thursday, or working Monday-Wednesday one week and Monday-Thursday the following week.

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), and Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients, adhere to radiation safety procedures, and perform quality assurance on radiology equipment
  • Principal Accountabilities: Perform radiography exams, enter and monitor patient data, ensure technical quality of images, identify and report accidents or equipment malfunction, take emergency call within the department, and promote individual professional growth and development
