We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at a surgical hospital in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality care. Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic, and portable radiographs
  • Select and operate radiography equipment and imaging accessories
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • Document relevant patient information and communicate with physicians
  • Adhere to hospital guidelines regarding radiation protection and ensure patient safety
  • Operate computer systems related to department operations
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the JRCERT or an equivalent program
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
  • One year of previous experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist preferred
  • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Department of State Health Services
  • Registered Technologist with the ARRT (R) with post-primary certification in Computed Tomography
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
