IT Specialist for 2 1/2 yr contract. Hybrid role, 50% on site in company's Manhattan offices.

  • Support and configure installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment.
  • Identify the causes of networking problems using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
  • Configure security settings, access permissions for groups and individuals.
  • Install, inspect, secure and troubleshoot networked computers.
  • Install network software, including security or firewall software.
  • Install new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with existing network systems.
  • Back up network data.
  • Monitor website for information about patches, releases, viruses, or potential problem identification.
  • Backup databases and develop and test recovery plans so that the data can be restored quickly.
  • Write SQL statements, manage databases, optimize databases, manage SharePoint site.
  • Support Azure Cloud Services, Ubuntu & Related Software
Minimum Requirements
  • 72 Months VOIP Experience
  • 84 Months Experience with Windows Server & Ubuntu
  • 72 Months Backup/Recovery including Azure, Infrastructure Design/Planning
  • 60 Months ARCGIS Configuration/Support
  • 72 Months experience with MS/SQL Server
  • 84 Months Experience with Wireless Computing
  • 60 Months Experience with DNN & SSL
  • 84 Months Experience with Network Routers, Bridges, Hubs
  • 60 Months Experience with SharePoint
