WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance ofnInformation Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and anynprocesses related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems includingnday-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of thenclient/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1n(Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis andnresolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication ofnstatus to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for thendispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolutionnprocess. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems andninstalls/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity andnconfigures network components along with implementing operating systemsnenhancements to improve reliability and performance.

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of ITnsystems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosisnand resolution of problems.
  • Manage the daily activities ofnconfiguration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provide assistance to usersnin accessing and using IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tiern2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution ofnproblems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-daynoperations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of thenclient/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Providensupport for the escalation and communication of status to agency management andninternal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resourcenutilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

The System Administrator in this position will be responsible for providing Linux System Administration and SSP/Security support for the program.
  • Five (5) years of experience providing System Administration support and anbachelor's degree in related technical discipline is required. In lieu of a degree, an additional five (5) years of experience in System Administration is required.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in all the following areas: Linux (Red Hat/Rocky, CentOS) and Latte u2018Art/SSP, STE/STN support.
Desired Experience with any of the following:
  • Ansible
  • FreeIPA
  • RedHat KVM
  • NetApp support
  • JIRA, Confluence (Atlassian Tool Suite)
  • Any scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl, JSON, etc)
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Clearence Level Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
