Application Developer - ServiceNow, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Responsible for technical implementation of ServiceNow ITSM (IT Service Management) and ITOM (IT Operations Management) applications and third-party integrations. Customize the applications in ServiceNow. Configure workflows using flow designer and integration hub to configure integrations between ServiceNow and other applications. Performs MID server configuration and troubleshooting. Configure client-side and server-side scripting (Client Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, UI scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, UI Action, UI Macro). Build service catalogs and service portals. Configure Now Mobile and Now Agent using Studio. Configure discovery, and orchestration. Work with network team to troubleshoot the issues related to devices in network and debug discovery patterns to understand the discovery failure issues. Provide post implementation support and hypercare after project go-live. Perform root cause analysis for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents and document knowledge articles. Perform platform administration activities like monitoring system health and performance. Create and maintain operational guides as per the changes and releases deployed in production environment. Perform ServiceNow upgrades to maintain the system up to date by utilizing ServiceNow out of the box functionality. Work with client teams to understand the as-is process and define to-be process. Analyze current state configurations, policies, processes, and documentation. Analyze and translate the business requirements into technical requirements and create end-to-end process flows. Design custom solution including custom tables, UI pages, catalog configuration and backend automation. Design reusable assets and testing framework for platform upgrades. Utilize: JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming, ServiceNow Application, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Rest API. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming, ServiceNow Application, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Rest API. $179,982.00 to $199,300.00 per year.
