Concorde Education is seeking a skilled Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master to lead an after-school club for elementary, middle, and/or high school students.
About the RoleThis part-time position involves planning and facilitating engaging sessions of Dungeons & Dragons, under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons rules, mechanics, lore, and applicable engagement tools. They should be able to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels, possess good interpersonal and organizational skills, and demonstrate responsibility and a desire to help others.
In this role, you will:
- Meet regularly with the Director of Educational Development to discuss club goals and progress
- Develop a story arc for the campaign and facilitate sessions using Roll20, DnD Beyond, or similar tools
- Help students design and develop their characters and backstories
- Survey students to tailor the campaign and sessions to their interests
- Model appropriate academic and social behaviors
You will also be responsible for:
- Collecting and analyzing data to drive future instruction
- Applying critical thinking skills and problem-solving to various situations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree
- Extensive knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons
- Experience as a Dungeon Master
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Concorde Education offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
