Job Description

Stamford Hospital's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a new addition to their growing team The Orthopedic Trauma team provides 24/7/365 coverage.

Physician Assistants will provide care to patients with joint, sports medicine and spine injuries, and will perform a host of clinical and surgical duties, including but not limited to first assisting in the operating room, emergency department consultations, splints, injections, rounding & discharging patients on the floors, etc.

Schedule: Full Time, 3 shifts per week - Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 6a-7:30p (with alternating Thursday swing shift of 8a-9:30p)

Qualifications

1) CT Physician Assistant License required upon hire

2) A minimum of 2 years of orthopedic surgery and/or orthopedic trauma strongly preferred

3) BLS certification required

4) ACLS certification required
