Investment Banking Associate (New York, NY) - Telecommuting Permissible. (multiple positions). Coordinate day-to-day transaction execution under the direction of Managing Directors. Conduct pitch drafting and assist with preparation of transaction marketing documents. Perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactions. Review and coordinate development of financial models, valuation analyses, and research. Conduct analyses covering discounted cash flows, precedent transactions and comparable companies. Manage buyer outreach including the execution of non-disclosure agreements. Prepare and maintain a functional virtual data room and any subsequent clean rooms. Review and negotiate transaction documents including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules and term sheets. Coordinate the preparation of fairness opinions. Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors. Support new business and marketing initiatives as appropriate. Mentor junior analysts on the team. Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, or a related field, and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or a related investment banking position analyzing the healthcare industry. Salary: $175k - $200k/yr. Also requires two (2) years of experience in researching mechanisms of action and treatment paradigms; managing outreach to healthcare clients regarding advisory and financing opportunities; analyzing capital market activity in the healthcare industry; performing financial statement analysis and valuation of healthcare companies; and evaluating the efficacy of specific drugs for input into strategic reports and recommendations.
