A company in South Miami is seeking a Data Analyst with insurance industry experience to join their team.Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to interpret business-related data, write comprehensive reports, analyze data and produce accessible graphs, charts, tables, and reports. You will verify reinsurance contracts and evaluate and enhance our existing reinsurance software (REOS). You will also be responsible for automating processes across all tasks, delivering professional customer service via phone calls, emails, and client visits, including, but not limited to, oral presentations. Furthermore, data entry and data verification in the REOS System will be part of your daily tasks. You will collect and integrate data from various sources for analysis, clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability, conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. The role requires demonstration of advanced mathematical skills and application of statistical methods and data modeling techniques to interpret data and make predictions. Responsibilities: • Interpret data relevant to the business of Reinsurance. • Have the ability to write comprehensive reports. • Analyze the data. Produce accessible graphs, charts, tables and reports. • Verify contracts related to reinsurance. • Evaluate and enhance our existing reinsurance software (REOS). • Automate processes across all tasks. • Deliver professional Customer Service via phone calls, e-mails, and client visits including but not limited to oral presentations. • Data entry and data verification REOS System. • Collect and integrate data from various sources for analysis. • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. • Demonstrate advanced mathematical skills. • Apply statistical methods and data modeling techniques to interpret data and make predictions. Additional Skills: • Experience in the insurance and/or banking industry. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. • Bilingual English/Spanish. • Data visualization experience. Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). This is a fully on-site position in Miami, Florida.
