JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Shift Timings: Morning 07:00 - 17:30 Hours Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours)

Per Week: 40 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
  • Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
  • Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
  • Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Cath lab Rad Tech needed- w/ call- call will be 2 days per week & EOW.
  • Must have 2 plus years experience in Cath lab, peripheral & IR experience preferred.
  • Experience w/ Impella balloon pump, IVUS, FFR and IFR. Will scrub diagnostics and Interventional cases.
  • All Facilities work a schedule of 36/48 for the two week pay period unless otherwise notates on job.
  • Orientation is bi-weekly. Start date on job is start date needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current Cath Lab Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Cath Lab Tech/Radiology Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Kentucky Cath Lab Tech state license
  • One year of Cerner experience
  • ARRT Certification
Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
