Generalist Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform laboratory analysis following documented procedures.
- This includes performing PCR (polymerase chain reaction) based molecular assays, possessing basic knowledge of molecular biology and molecular technologies, and executing all tasks with attention to detail.
- Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate#39;s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required
- 1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting
- ASCP certification preferred.
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
