Security Admin

Security Admin needed for a State/local government agency located in Sanford, Florida
*Description*
Top Skills: Understand into security works what its for, understand end goals, understand network, and, security protocols.
This role would be part of the security team, incident response, make sure to take the right steps when an alert/request comes in, to evaluate what the actual issue is, and learn to be able to be the first line of support level 1 issues, and also properly triage others based on priority level.
Will be responsible for working with their EDR tool, phishing campaigns, help with documentation to support audits, Security Awareness campaigns.

*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
The security team needs to have a sense of urgency as they coordinate with other federal agencies.
Requires a lot of log and event reviews - looking for person that can be junior in their cybersecurity experience, but needs to understand information security, understanding of networks, protocols, and an understanding of the various security compliance regulations, security controls.
Heavy documentation day to day. IAM skills a plus , Active Directory, ACL's, file permissions, etc.
*Experience Level*
1-2 years, and also open to junior level candidates who have focused in cybersecurity through education/certifications, etc.

This is a hybrid position in Sanford, Florida and requires this person to reside close to the office location in the surrounding Sanford/greater Orlando area.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
