Duties/Responsibilities:

PRIMARY:

Create general arrangements and detail production drawings for all equipment.

Using the sales file, quotation, and Engineering Manager's documentation, assign a

draftsperson to create a general arrangement drawing with all information required to gain

customer approval for manufacturing.

Monitor and maintain the committed schedule for drawing production.

Maintain communication with customer until equipment design is approved.

Review with Engineering Manager all customer requested changes for operational

performance and costing changes.

Certify all customer approved design drawings.

Create Bills of Materials for equipment.

Consistent with standards, document all components, and detailed parts on general

arrangement drawings.

Create purchase requisition for all component buyouts per each equipment design.

Document all purchased components on standard request for purchase form and supply to

production planning/purchasing.

Create production drawings for manufacturing.

Document all detailed production drawings complete with standard dimensioning

practices, weld instructions, and work notes.

Supply detail drawing package to production planning department.

When required revise detail drawings for ease of manufacturing, purchasing restrictions,

etc.

Liaison with management for all equipment during production, assembly, and

final testing.

When called upon, and as a priority, support the manufacturing process with drawings

interpretations dimensioning of parts, ft up, etc.

Revise all drawings relating to changes during manufacturing.

Create and maintain all documentation for equipment.

Final design certified drawings for customer.

Operations and Maintenance manuals for each piece of equipment for each customer.

Maintain O&M manuals.

Create and provide operations and maintenance manuals for all manufactured

equipment.

PDM, Driveworks, and General files.

General personnel management.

Monitor and measure the drafting sta 's individual performances.

Manage work schedule with time o and overtime requirements.

This position requires proficiency with SolidWorks as well as being highly detailed and excellent with documentation Need an individual good with coordinating and ability to schedule, manage, and lead within and between departments. Salary is DOE plus a full benefit package.
