If you're a motivated and passionate individual that truly wants to make a difference - we would be honored to have you join us on this journey The Swim Instructor Position: Train, understand, and teach our premier British Swim School program to kids age 3 months and up. Provide a fun and safe learning experience to students and parents, while maintaining certifications throughout employment. WE PAY FORandPROVIDE ALL TRAININGThe only thing required is an eagerness to learn, a fun personality and an enjoyment/love for children (we offer training on adult instruction too). Recognize and understand the program progression and level of swimming ability of each student. Attend staff meetings/huddles and regular in-service training Set up, clean and maintain pool areas before and after each shift. Our Swim Instructors also cross-train as Deck Ambassadors to help represent and be the greeters and friendly faceof our program. Customer service skills and a desire to work with people are a must Welcome students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area. Check water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons. Provide instructive feedback to parents and children or the Owner/Deck Ambassador on duty to track kids’ results. Arrive dressed in British Swim School attire at least 30-45 minutes before the first lesson. A willingness to help your fellow teammates by substituting shifts and helping maintain a great work environment and work-life balance Compensation and Benefits: Starting hourly rate of $13/hr. Enthusiastic personality. Comfortable in and around the water. Strong swimming skills are a plus but can be taught and developed Ability to follow the program, be on time and enforce safety procedures. Must complete all required British Swim School Aquatics-specific training and testing. Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings (3pm-8pm), weekends (8am- 2pm). Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children. Early Care Education or Daycare teaching experience is preferred Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) are a bonus, but training will be provided if not. Customer service experience. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach. We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool.
