Responsibilities
  1. Generate accurate and thorough estimates for projects in sectors including life science, healthcare, and medical gas.
  2. Use AutoBid software for estimating the cost of projects.
  3. Review plans and architectural drawings; understand the scope of work to bid.
  4. Track and manage project bid process, and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the industry's latest trends and advancements.
  6. Negotiate and communicate with contractors and subcontractors.
  7. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors.
  8. Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing estimation.
  2. Proven experience in life science, healthcare, and medical gas projects.
  3. Proficient in using AutoBid or similar estimating software.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and specifications.
  5. Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
  6. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  7. Must be local to the New York City area.
Preferred
  1. Stable work history demonstrating commitment and professional growth.
  2. Familiarity with local plumbing codes and standards.
