Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Survey professional to join our team at P.H. Works, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive plumbing surveys and estimates, analyzing project requirements, and developing cost analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys for prospective plumbing and boiler jobs, gathering key details to prepare a comprehensive proposal.
  • Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Determine factors influencing the cost of a service or product, such as travel time, lead times, and accessibility.
  • Prepare estimates for projects surveyed, based on labor, materials, and administrative work required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, presenting prepared estimates to management.
  • Communicate with field teams to ensure they have all necessary information and direction to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Attend city/utility inspections and address emergency situations that may arise during site visits.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in NYC DOB and DEP Code.
  • Proficiency in DOB BIS, DOB: InspectionReady, and DOBNow, with ability to navigate websites for relevant information.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Report writing and strategic planning skills.
  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
