    1. To achieve established quality standards by approving incoming materials, verifying in-process production, and auditing finished products.
    2. To generate and provide Certificates of Compliance.
    3. Ensure that the QMS databases are maintained and up to date to reflect the most recent corrective actions (CAR’s), Material Review Board (MRB) decisions, Quality Alerts, and customer complaints (CCR’s).
    4. Ensure the document control process meets requirements of the QMS.
    5. To act as an internal auditor ensuring documented procedures/processes comply with QMS requirements.
    6. To ensure that customers receive high-quality products that meet Company standards.
    7. To maintain all training documents for the site and support training / Quality orientation for new employees.
  1. KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
    1. To generate and provide Certificates of Compliance to a specified group of customers every Monday.
      1. To generate and provide Certificates of Compliance as requested including Mil Certs, test reports and notarized documents.
    2. Ensure the document control process meets requirements of the QMS.
    3. To act as an internal auditor ensuring documented procedures/processes comply with QMS requirements.
    4. Uses problem solving efforts on assigned projects to reduce defects, improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve cycle time.
    5. Performs complex inspections and sets quality standards for in-process production, and communicates required adjustments to the Production Supervisor, to ensure the achievement of targets with respect to quality.
    6. Follows established procedures and guidelines for checking, testing, and inspecting incoming raw materials, and rejects and returns all undesirable goods.
    7. Conducts audits of finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning failed products for rework, and evaluating rework, to follow the norms and standards of quality as defined by the Company.
    8. Documents inspection results by completing reports, logs and/or discrepancy material reports, summarizing rework and waste/scrap, and inputting data into the quality database.
    9. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
    10. Maintain all training documents for the Site.
    11. Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.

  3. SKILLS NEEDED
    1. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience.
    2. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
    3. Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.
    4. Understanding of internal audit process and ability to complete internal auditor training within 60 days of employment date.
    5. High school diploma or GED.
    6. Self-starter that is able to work in an independent manner.
    7. Able to read drawings, analyze information, and record findings.
      1. Proficient in MS Office Suite
        1. Knowledge and use of basic measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
        2. Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
        3. Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
  1. MEASUREMENT

Primary measures of successful performance will be:
  1. Maintain C of C distribution schedule and ensure special requests are handled in an appropriate fashion including formal escalation for problem requests.
  2. Ensure high quality of products being distributed to customers.
  3. Maintenance of Document Control portion of the QMS
  4. Meet requirements of internal audit schedule.
  5. Maintenance and support of the Issues Log.
  6. Receive zero notices of violation or administrative consent orders regarding environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.
