We are recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award, FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida. Our patients have access to ground-breaking therapies, in a community setting, and may participate in national clinical research studies of drugs and treatment protocols. In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.

HIGHLIGHTS

FCS is currently expanding our team of oncologists and hematologists in our hospital settings throughout Florida. We're currently hiring a board-certified/eligible inpatient physician in Gainesville, FL. This is an excellent weekend hospitalist opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community centered care. Gainesville, home to the University of Florida, is a great place to live in Florida. The city features many events, and outdoor activities, with access to numerous parks, museums, and downtown.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Team based setting with a multidisciplinary approach
  • Inpatient consults at contracted community-based area hospitals with some clinic rotation
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis
  • Opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials
