We are a team oriented, animal loving CPA firm in Olathe, KS that does an amazing variety of work for our clients. The services we offer include payroll processing, tax advice and preparation, business acquisition consulting, audit and review services, and business accounting needs at whatever level our client needs. This could be as simple as a yearend reconciliation and tax preparation, or as complex as running their accounting department. The work is fast paced and varied, so the right person has the opportunity to gain new experience as they assist our clients.

We are looking for an individual with experience in individual and business tax preparation, payroll processing and accounting to join our team as a staff accountant. This position can be full or part-time with flexible work hours in our office in Olathe.

Staff Accounting Position

Responsibilities

• Prepare account reconciliations
• Prepare individual and business tax returns
• Month-end reporting to multiple clients
• Provide external audit assistance
• Payroll processing
• Sales Tax processing

Requirements

• At least 3 years of accounting experience required.
• At least 3 years of tax preparation experience preferred.
• Payroll processing experience preferred
• Extensive use of Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks and UltraTax a plus
