Internship Location: St. Paul, MN
Our Internship Experience includes:

Position Overview:
The Strategic Innovation Team is responsible for vetting, scoping, and rapid prototyping of emerging technologies with the primary focus of keeping a healthy and profitable innovation pipeline. Projects span across all markets within the Global Hygiene, Health, and Consumables (HHC) business unit, and interfaces with external innovation initiatives that include universities and start-ups.
Primary Duties:
Primary duties include creating and testing adhesive formulations using emerging technologies.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work with new raw materials from our suppliers, synthesize new raw materials, and perform material property testing.
Close interface with our Corporate Analytical Group to become a trained user on instrumentation (e.g. NMR, FTIR, Rheometers, DCS/TGA, GPC).
Required Qualifications:
Rising Junior who has completed both semesters of organic chemistry, with lab, and at least one semester of analytical chemistry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Rising senior who has completed both semesters of organic chemistry, with lab, and at least one semester of analytical chemistry.
Previous research experience in organic chemistry and hands-on use of modern analytical instrumentation.
Physical Environment:
The physical environment consists of a combination of laboratory and office work at our corporate headquarters in St. Paul, MN.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $22-$25 per hour based on major.In addition to your salary, H.B.
