Do you have experience in the Long-Term Care (LTC) industry and a knack for coordinating strategic Assessment Reference Dates (ARDs) and completion dates? If so, we have an exceptional role for you as an MDS Coordinator. Join our team and become a subject matter expert in MDS completion and its impact on both care quality and revenue.
Required License: RN License
Position Highlights:
- Play a pivotal role in optimizing reimbursement and tracking relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with revenue integrity requirements, including Physician Certification/Recertification and Denial letters.
- Chair revenue-related meetings and promptly respond to facility and regional team inquiries.
- Promote accurate IDT documentation and provide education to facility staff.
- Coordinate comprehensive care plans based on data collection and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in new MDS coordinator interviews, orientation, and ongoing education.
- Registered nurse with 3+ years reimbursement or similar experience in the LTC industry (preferred).
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing MDS and billing processes in the LTC setting.
- Ability to collaborate with IDT members at facility, regional, and corporate levels.

Salary/ Wage Range
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
