Job Description:

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist(Travel)

Location: Rochester, New York, 14617

Shift Timing: 10-hour D/E Shifts (D/E - Must be willing to work 4x10s) (One working weekend shift/any shift/month.)

Guaranteed Hours: (Weekly) : 40

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 14 weeks

Trave Pay Package

"Stipend Weekly (Non-Taxable)" 1316

"Weekly (Taxable)" 1000

Total Weekly Gross 2316

Position Overview:

The Certified Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures, with a strong focus on vascular cases.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of OR experience in an acute care facility and must be certified by the NBSTSA.

This position requires flexibility in working weekends, with one working weekend shift per month.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in surgical procedures, particularly in vascular cases (both hybrid and open surgery).
  • Ensure the operating room is properly set up with the necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Maintain sterile techniques during procedures and assist surgeons as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide quality patient care.
Education:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA required)
Skills:
  • 2 years of OR experience in an acute care facility
  • Vascular surgery experience
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
  • AHA BLS Certification
