In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on instruction and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various life skills areas.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized training programs based on each individual's goals and needs.
  • Teach essential life skills such as personal hygiene, home maintenance, meal planning and preparation, money management, and community navigation.
  • Assist individuals in developing social skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Provide support and encouragement to foster independence and self-confidence.
  • Track progress and document outcomes for each individual.

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging instructor who can create a positive and inclusive learning environment for our individuals. If you have a passion for making a difference in someone's life, we want to hear from you

  • A perfect part-time or second job
  • No experience necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Flexible availability. 25 - 40 hours a week (may include weekends)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm) (4pm - 12am) (12am - 8am), Every other weekend or as needed
  • Rate: $20.00 - $21.00

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to adapt and modify instruction to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
