Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of the mechanics across three shifts. The primary focus is to ensure consistent production and facility operation for both Warminster and Ivyland sites. Identification, development, and implementation of continuous improvement projects will also be a portion of this role. It is critical that the maintenance manager work collaboratively with the engineers, facility supervisor, and plant manager to ensure optimal operation and enhancement of the Warminster and Ivyland sites.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years in maintenance or maintenance leadership
- Working in a fast-paced production environment
- Management experience preferred
- Engineering (mechanical or electrical) background preferred
- Mechanical aptitude required
- PLC programming experience preferred
- Chemical Manufacturing maintenance and reliability experience
- Lean / Six Sigma Experience
- Project management experience
Education:
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelors Degree (Engineering) Preferred
Skills:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills.
- Proven team player, able to work collaboratively at all levels and builds partnerships with cross-functional teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of maintenance staff including goal setting, training, discipline, coaching and hiring.
- Management of maintenance schedule and schedule adherence.
- Monitor a plant maintenance system to decrease equipment downtime and optimize cost.
- Utilize TQM & Lean Six Sigma principles to identify, manage & support cost saving projects
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional alignment and stakeholder buy-in, including TPM and lean initiatives.
- Maintain production equipment; assist in the research and troubleshooting of equipment as needed. Including training to ensure team is able to maintain/repair equipment properly.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled support of repair of production and facility assets
- Order parts (preventative & reactive) for machine and asset repairs as needed
- Aid in the development of the 5S maintenance program and upkeep
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production related machines
- Develop maintenance procedures, training plans, and ensure execution of these training plan(s). Ensure individuals are trained on new equipment and develop robust training and SOPs for equipment upkeep and non-scheduled maintenance/repair.
- Sustain the preventative maintenance program and work order tracking system
- Support the identification, research, implementation of capital expenditure projects including planning mechanical resourcing or knowledge support of equipment and operations. Support Capex programs related to install, training and critical spares for site.
- High collaboration with the facilities supervisor, process engineer, warehouse manager, and plant manager to ensure project and daily task priorities are being handled adequately
- Ensure all safety procedures and environmental requirements are followed at all times
- Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate strong organizational & prioritization skills
- Work flexible hours and shifts as required
- Maintain company expectations for Safety, Quality, Service Level, Sustainability, Integrity, and Respect in daily activities.
- Track and maintain downtime recordings, ensure continual improvement on the downtime of equipment
- Implement and sustain a preventative maintenance program
- Implement and sustain a work order tracking system
