Cole Engineering Services (CESI), a By Light company, is recognized as a premier provider of modeling and simulation (M&S) training solutions to the Federal Government and industry. Since 2004, CESI has been at the forefront of developing, maintaining, and integrating simulation-based training, serious gaming, technical services, training and other support in live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVCG) domains. CESI also designs, builds and runs infrastructure, platforms, applications and processes that enable cyber training for the integrated multi-domain force. Our vision is to become a worldwide full spectrum LVCG and cyber training/analysis developer, integrator and services provider.
Position Overview:
Senior Systems Terrain and Game Visualization Engineer responsible for leading a team that is developing production for the next-generation collective training software system.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support the systems architecture, design, requirements and integration of terrain database and game visualization into the next generation of collective training software systems.
- Lead a team in an agile team environment to develop terrain databases for use in command staff, ground virtual, air virtual, and dismounted platforms.
- Develop software products that provide terrain source products into efficient runtime representations for visualization.
- Twenty (20) years' experience designing and developing terrain content for integration into large-scale visual simulation systems and networks with ten (10) years' experience of this working in systems engineering and architecture of terrain engineering
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, from an accredited college or university.
- Requires competence with software/hardware analysis and design, performance analysis, configuration, and data management.
- Must have experience working both independently and as a member of an agile development team.
- Significant experience in Geospatial data handling and testing, for use in runtime systems.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and a SECRET security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
