As a mission-driven organization with over 30 years of experience, AmeriHealth Caritas provides integrated managed care products and various healthcare services. We are currently seeking a dynamic Development Manager for our Member Services Salesforce Team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your Salesforce expertise and people management skills to deliver innovative solutions on our Member CRM Salesforce platform, playing a crucial role in the evolution of Healthcare IT.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented Salesforce development team, guiding complex implementation efforts for Member CRM and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Facilitate technical discussions with team members and vendors to enhance solution design.
- Oversee the design and development of integrations and features on the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to align proposed solutions with enterprise architecture standards.
- Mentor team members, providing technical guidance while promoting an agile development culture.
- Conduct problem analysis and simplification of complex challenges to drive effective solutions.
- Develop technical documentation, including design specifications and operational guides.
- Stay informed about security requirements and scalability considerations throughout the development cycle.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and barriers to IS and Business Leadership.
- Contribute to the strategic vision and evolution of our Salesforce capabilities.
Qualifications / Education:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years leading technical development teams and 10+ years of software development experience.
- 6+ years of experience with Salesforce, including hands-on development.
- Current Salesforce certifications are required.
- Technical skills: Salesforce Service Cloud, Security Model, Data Model, REST, SOAP, MS SQL/Oracle.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Healthcare Payer industry.
- Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification.
- Experience with Health Cloud and Salesforce App Exchange products.
- Understanding of .Net.
- Technical skills such as LWCs, Aura, Visualforce, Apex, and Salesforce Flows.
