About the Role

Job Title: Systems Operations Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RHEL, SUSE) and Windows (Win2K, Win2K3, NT4) servers with expertise.
  • Troubleshoot cluster issues in SAN environments efficiently, resolving hardware or OS-related incidents.
  • Oversee high-availability data centers, file servers, and print servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and uphold Windows security protocols across diverse server setups.
  • Conduct regular backups, capacity planning, and performance tuning to maintain system integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Linux/Windows server environments and adept troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAN clustering and high-availability systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in operating high-availability data centers.
  • Knowledge of enterprise server security measures and automation tools.

Location: Quincy, MA

Salary Range: The salary for this position falls between $100,000 and $115,000 annually. Several factors, including geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate, may influence pay within this range.
