Scope of Service: The Nurse's primary function is to provide assessments, consultation, education and coordination of medical care to all clients of Continuum's residential programs. The Nurse's role is also to employ strategies to promote education and in service training to staff on any and all medical issues pertaining to client needs. We also ask that the Nurse be available strictly for consultation and in-service training to other programs as needed within the Residential Services Divisions. Veterans and those with disabilities are encouraged to apply. EOE Qualifications: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with professional CT license. Prior experience working with special populations, including mental health, developmental/intellectual disabilities, homelessness, substance use, and veterans preferred. Current certification in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months of hiring. Valid Connecticut Drivers license with clean driving record is required. Knowledge of the community support system and resources is preferred. A healthy role model with the ability to communicate healthy lifestyle practices and behavior modifications to clients is required. Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of the basic principles of psychiatric rehabilitation is preferred. The following Nursing positions are available with the following pay rates listed below: Licensed Practical Nurse- Rateof Pay: $39.39 per hour - Weekend Differential Pay $40.39 per hour Registered Nurse- Rateof Pay: $45.05 per hour Weekend Differential Pay $46.05 per hour Continuum offers excellent benefits, matching 401(k) plan, including a generous PTO package and 12 paid holidays compensated at Double Time VA PTSD, New Haven, CT PT 16 hrs3:30-11:30, shift during the week and every other weekend Baltic-Sprague - Baltic, CT: PT 8 Hours- Flexible Shifts Compass - New Haven, CT: FT 40 Hours (Days and Hours TBD) Middletown CRS - Middletown, CT: Per Diem Shifts Available Rapid Evaluation Stabilization Treatment - New Haven, CT: (RN License required) PT 16 hrs Saturday/Sunday 7am -3pm Every Other Weekend PT 16 hrs Saturday/Sunday 3pm - 11pm Every Other Weekend PT 16 hrs Saturday/Sunday 11:30 pm - 7:30 pm Every Other Weekend
