We are seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician/Practitioner (MD/DO) to assist with locum tenens coverage. Experience working with an acute and chronic adult inpatient population is required.
Qualifications:
• 3+ more years as a Physician/Practitioner, preferred
• Experience working with in-patient (preferred) adult admissions or geriatric admissions and acute and chronic health management of adult, forensic and geriatric populations.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for patient care that includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of medical illnesses for adult and geriatric psychiatric inpatient population.
• Serves as medical consultant to the attending psychiatrist/practitioner.
• Completes admission medical assessments (including history and physical examinations, mental status examination) and entering admission orders.
