Our Common Avionics Team is seeking a skilled, motivated, and disciplined electronics engineer to support avionics sustainment related engineering projects across a wide variety of over 245 fielded systems, including Navigation, Communication, Safety and Mission Systems capabilities.
Essential Job Functions:
Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
Performs circuit analysis, technical assessments and component substitution recommendations.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A BS degree in a Engineering/Science discipline, math, or computer science plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in a related Engineering/Science Field is required.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
Three years working with NAVAIR avionics systems.
