Eastridge Legal is recruiting an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a Newark, New Jersey company. This position will work onsite Monday through Friday.

The paralegal will work with a collaborative team and offer advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist litigation counsel across all stages of legal proceedings
  • Encompass document collection, retention, and production
  • Monitor a high volume of transactions in the post-judgment remedies process, handle wage garnishments, and bank levies
  • Read and assess legal documents, validate accuracy, and take requisite action
  • Identify data and content discrepancies through the utilization of internal and external resources
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in litigation, be capable of managing assignments from multiple attorneys, and demonstrate initiative while working independently.
  • Minimum of 2 years in civil litigation, including proficiency in organizing extensive caseloads, discovery, and trial readiness
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
