A valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri is essential, along with a Master's Degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner through ANCC, NAACOG, or NAPNAP. Possessing an AAHIVS HIV Specialist Certification and APIC Certificate is highly valued, as is completion of additional HIV/HCV CME courses. Extensive experience working with patients with infectious diseases is crucial for success in this role.
Candidates must also hold current BLS certification to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Demonstrating proficiency in these areas will enable you to provide exceptional care to our community in Sedalia, MO.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri is required.
- Possession of a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university including educational preparation as a nurse Practitioner with certification through ANCC, NAACOG, or NAPNAP
- STATE OF MISSOURI, AAHIVS HIV Specialist Certification preferred.
- APIC Certificate preferred.
- Additional HIV/HCV CME Courses and certifications required.
- Extensive work with infectious disease patient panel required.
- Must have current BLS certification.
