Your day as a Advanced Practice Nurse- Pediatrics
As a new Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in Pediatrics at Katy Trail Community Health, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing medical care to pediatric patients, conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. You will collaborate with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.
This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional evenings and weekend shifts to accommodate our patients' needs. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment where your skills and passion for pediatric care will be valued and utilized to the fullest. To excel in the role of Advanced Practice Nurse in Pediatrics at Katy Trail Community Health, certain skills and qualifications are essential. Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse licensure in Missouri, possess a Master's Degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from an accredited institution, and be certified through ANCC, NAACOG, or NAPNAP. Additionally, CPR/BLS certification is required to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are crucial for success in this position. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri is required

- CPR/BLS Certified
