Description and Requirements

Do you love thinking analytically? Are you passionate about using your analytics knowledge to navigate complex challenges? As part of the IDG Commercial Routes & Engagement Strategy team, t he Route to Market (RTM) Analyst will play a pivotal role in the support and future development of the business by generating insights and identifying compelling opportunities & strategies based on route-to-market insights.

Description

Partner across the Commercial organization to shape key growth drivers. Provide insightful and actionable analysis to drive enhanced sales performance across all IDG lines of business. Work with forecasting teams to input customer-level insight and advise on key campaigns and programs. Responsible for estimating the expected sales impact of programs by RTM.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Understand our technology platforms to extract quantitative data to perform required data analytics and resolve any master data queries
  • Acts as a point of contact to Commercial key stakeholders for Route to Market insights
  • Develop and deliver analytics reporting and dashboards as required by business areas
  • Understand business challenges & opportunities and identify where customer data could help support business decisions
  • Provide insight and analysis to support and improve RTM performance
  • Support ad-hoc requests
  • Prepare month end presentations on all activities
  • The creation of an efficient operating model will transform RTM Function towards a much higher level of problem solving and resolution.
Basic Qualifications
  • University/Bachelor's degree, preferably in data science and/or statistics or other relevant discipline, or a relevant combination of formal qualifications and additional specialized study
  • 1+ years professional experience of developing and delivering analytics dashboards and reporting using Data visualization software (preferably Power BI) and Advanced Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of output
  • Strategic understanding - ability to connect data, analytics and strategic thinking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results of analysis in easy-to- understand business terms
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and presentation tools (e.g. Powerpoint)
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to handle multiple projects
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Be an intellectually curious self-starter with a desire to find creative and innovative solutions to issues at hand


This position is based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
