About Team and Platform
Data and Reporting platform is a cross product for client reporting and downstream applications. It provides reports i(e.g., real-time trades, positions, Initial and Variation Margin, Positions and Balances, internal reporting, downstream data feeds, etc.) for external and internal clients. A major ongoing initiative is to modernize a scalable data and reporting platform and establish data quality framework and process.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Perform data and process analysis to identify data issues and root causes, and to collaborate with development, support, or cross-functional teams to implement fixes
• Liaise with Data Concierge function to support data requests and issues thru Client corresponding data management process
• Reconcile data feeds to conduct gap analysis, identify causes, and involve with testing to support project implementation
• Gather requirements to define and document data quality framework and measures, and work with data architect and development teams to implement automated data quality validation and dashboard monitoring process with automated alerts
• Analyze and document transformation logic of data fields in data process, create data lineage diagrams for upstream and downstream data processes using data lineage tool including continuous improvements and controls
• Work with business users, product owners, and data stewards to document data catalogs and maintain them in the system, develop data standards, and establish change control and approval process
• Document group data policy and procedures adhering Client enterprise data architecture and data governance policy

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis
• Ability to solve complex data issues and perform data reconciliation to improve data and process
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement data catalogs, data quality metrics and monitoring, and data lineage
• Strong understanding in data governance framework and operating model
• Excellent communication and presentation skill, business user interaction, issue management and status update
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and work with business users on data and reporting solutions
• Advanced hands-on in SQL and solid understanding in database and data model design
• Experience in data pipeline/ETL and data integration design and implementation
• Expert in Excel and passionate about data
• 3+ years of experience in financial industry
• Experience in data quality and data lineage tool
• Hands on in BI tool(e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Understanding commodities and derivatives trading is a plus
• Experience in Python for data analysis is a plus

Education:
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in data analytics
