Position: Production Lead
Hours: 20 hours per week
Classification: Part-Time

Job Summary:
The Production Lead at Westside Church will oversee aspects of production, audio & lights for services and gatherings. This role ensures the seamless execution of all technical and stage elements, including gear oversight, stage management, Planning Center Online (PCO) management, lighting, and in-service production coordination. The Production Lead collaborates closely with the Creative Arts Director/Worship Pastor and Technology Director to support the church's mission and vision through high-quality production.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in production management or a similar role
  • Proficiency with lighting and stage equipment
  • Familiarity with Planning Center Online (PCO)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities and Associated Tasks:

Film & Podcast Studio Management: 25%
  • Manage the church's film studio, including equipment and resources
  • Coordinate with volunteers and staff for studio use and production needs
Creative Projects / Film Production: 15%
  • Oversee creative projects and film production from concept to completion
  • Manage scheduling, shooting, and archival of creative assets
  • Produce video announcements and other video content
Lighting & Audio: 10%
  • Design and implement lighting for services and events
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lighting systems
  • Schedule Audio technicians / Front of House Engineers as needed
  • Oversee the maintenance & operation of audio systems church-wide
Gear & Stage Oversight: 10%
  • Maintain and manage all production gear and church-owned musical equipment
  • Ensure regular maintenance and timely repairs
  • Keep an updated inventory of production gear
  • Oversee stage setup and tear-down for services and events in primary venues (Worship Center, Student Center, Chapel)
  • Coordinate with volunteers and staff for efficient stage management
  • Ensure all stage elements are prepared and functional
Tech operations for Church & Community Center Events: 40%
  • Run audio and/or video for church events as needed, such as Women's Bible Study, Men's Breakfast and staff connect
  • Meet with outside groups renting the facility and accommodate tech needs during events
Supervisory: None
Immediate Supervisor: Creative Arts Director
