Position Details:

  • Estimated Start Date: November 15, 2024

  • Scheduled Hours: Call only

Medical Setting: Inpatient

Patient Volume: Average per 24 hours: 2 phone consultations, 4 patient admissions, 2 administrative tasks

Types of Cases:

  • General Cardiology
  • Non-invasive call
  • STEMI admissions (always with interventional backup on call)

Skills and Procedures:

  • Outpatient and Inpatient Cardiology
  • ICU Management
  • Non-invasive procedures
  • Echocardiography and TEE (Transesophageal Echo)
  • Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolyte, Thallium, etc.)
  • STEMI management
  • Invasive cardiology (diagnostic only)
  • PA catheter placement
  • IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pump) placement
  • Cardiac catheterization
  • Heart biopsy
  • Invasive cardiology (Interventional)
  • Angioplasty (PTCA)
  • Intracoronary stent placement
  • Atherectomy
