ABOUT THE ROLE

The Assistant Project Manager provides project management support throughout the project lifecycle for Project Managers. You will support the planning of renewable energy construction projects and partner with the rest of the project team to drive execution. We have ambitious goals to reach by 2030, and you will be instrumental in Clēnera's ability to achieve those goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Participate in project planning and development through responsibilities such as researching development (ie, site walks, shade studies, etc.), due diligence processes, organizing data for development proposals, estimating project costs, stakeholder management, and review of contracts and documents.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of company SOPs for assigned projects as well as communicate/collaborate across project team throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support project execution through responsibilities such as vendor management, project documentation (POs, RFIs, RFPs, LOIs NTPs, BOMs, etc.), attending project meetings/calls, managing agendas/minutes for project meetings, and related tasks.
  • Organize project closeout documentation, coordinate logistics and procurement of owner-provided materials, and lead processing of payables/receivables.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project team members, means and methods, as well as ensure appropriate level of information sharing and involvement with senior leadership.
  • Prepare reports for project status and financial updates.
  • Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
  • Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, public administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management role or similar.
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
  • Skills/Attributes:
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Proficient in budgets, financials, procurement, and cost controls.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively complete and prioritize multiple deadlines.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel: Occasional
