Position Overview
As an Account Executive at Vantage Discovery, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on enterprise-level e-commerce companies. Your ability to understand complex business needs, communicate the value of our platform, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers will be essential to our growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Prospect into and qualify new business opportunities with large, multinational retailers, brands and online marketplaces.
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand customer needs and collaborate with Applications Engineers to deliver compelling value-based product demonstrations.
- Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals which typically involve POCs, multiple stakeholders, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs.
- Provide regular forecasts and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product enhancements to effectively position our solutions.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to represent Vantage Discovery and generate new leads.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce and AI.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Experience selling AI, ML, or data analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of search, AI, and LLM technologies.
- Awards for top achievement (President's club, Winner's circle, Top 10%).
- Prior experience in a high-growth technology startup.
