Returns Specialist

Summary/objective
A Returns Specialist is an entry-level position that plays a crucial role in managing returned Blue Driver and Blue Driver Max devices in our Barrington office. This position processes returns from point of intake through final disposition of disposal or resell.
Essential functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Receive devices, either direct from buyer or via batch shipment from warehouse, and initiate intake process to ensure proper tracking of inventory.
- Test returned devices, recording results in system of record (Salesforce)
- Identify items that are viable for redistribution and resale based on inspection and testing
- Perform basic cosmetic refurbishing of returned devices such as replacing the housing unit
- Repackage and ship Blue Driver and Blue Driver Max devices that meet quality standards
- Resolve discrepancies between return documentation and physical Blue Driver products
- Collaborate with various departments such as customer service, sales, and procurement to resolve discrepancies, process returns, and ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment

Work environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
Physical demands
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 20 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
Travel required
This position requires approximately 10% travel within the US and Canada.
