Role Summary: The Vice President of Brand & Marketing will lead the branding, marketing, business intelligence and digital efforts for the Fiesta Sports Foundation (the "Foundation"). This mission-driven leader will drive collaboration across the Foundation's multi-unit organization, to effectively convey its marketing, branding and digital strategies internally and externally, working to elevate its profile locally, regionally and nationally.

This position will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand management and marketing strategies that enhance the Foundation's visibility and engagement with key stakeholders, while also facilitating revenue generation opportunities by leveraging the Foundation's brand, marketing assets and goodwill.

The VP will foster a working environment dedicated to strengthening the storytelling around the Foundation's pioneering spirit, exciting events and experiences, dedication to its partners, unmatched hospitality and community commitment - to inspire Arizona residents, business, community and civic stakeholders to enhance their support of the Foundation. The role will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships & Development, Vice President of Communications and other senior leaders to foster a collaborative and innovative environment that will inspire best in class marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity for the Fiesta Sports Foundation, its affiliated entities and properties.
  • Create and enforce brand guidelines and messaging that reflect the Foundation's mission and core values.
  • Determine strategies for managing the Foundation's brands and ensure effective implementation.
  • Oversee the development and execution of creative content for all marketing channels, including video, graphics, and written materials.
  • Ensure that all creative content aligns with the Foundation's brand and strategic goals.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, website content, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Develop engaging content that drives interaction and growth on social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. VP of Corporate Partner Sponsorships & Development to develop compelling marketing assets for sponsorship deals and ensure that partners receive maximum value from their investments.
  • Develop marketing plans that integrate sponsor messaging and leverage sponsor relationships to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data to continuously improve marketing efforts and achieve business objectives.
  • Promote key events, such as the Fiesta Bowl, through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with event operations and community relations to ensure seamless integration of marketing and event execution.
  • Assist with public relations efforts, including press releases, media relations, and crisis management when necessary.
  • Ensure that marketing and PR messages are cohesive and support the Foundation's overall narrative.
  • Stay informed about the latest marketing trends and technologies in the sports and live events industry.
  • Implement innovative marketing tactics that keep the Foundation at the forefront of the industry.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined, this role requires flexibility to adapt to evolving organizational needs, undertake tasks beyond those listed, and contribute to projects as they arise, ensuring the team's objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the sports or entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and brand management strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • Experience working with sponsorships and partnerships in a sports context.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
