Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, production, and modification of our airborne platforms across multiple sub-contractors and ensure QA/QC compliance that meets contractual and internal requirements to ensure the highest levels of reliability and performance are achieved. Develop and execute the QA/QC acceptance testing procedures for all production aircraft and ground control stations. Ensure contractual schedule requirements are achieved within the established budget. Serve as the technical point of contact for stakeholders during production process. Support operational and production sparing and yield analysis to ensure proper thresholds are established and maintained. Responsible for developing a Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).

Travel requirements - 25-30% on average

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field of study with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Project Management experience including maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and working closely with multiple stakeholders to track schedules of competing priorities and limited resources
  • Experience with proposal writing, contracts, and change notices
  • Experience implementing and/or managing a FRACAS Process
  • Knowledge and experience with air vehicle systems and subsystems, and technical manuals (General Systems, Job Guides, Work Instructions, Fault Isolation, etc.)
  • Familiarity with commercial/military requirements for inspecting, operating and maintaining aircraft
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience entering and reviewing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and/or Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
  • Experience authoring technical manuals, publications, memos, and compliance procedures
  • Experience working with Logistics, configuration management, and asset tracking
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving
  • Familiarity with Team Center
  • Experience in a remote working environment
