What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola? The forklift operator moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high. Shift Details: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Mon - Thur) Responsibilities Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements. Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time. Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and procedures Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment Ensure proper rotation of product Maintain a clean, safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Forklift certified or a willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 month Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy Work weekends and holidays as directed by the business Lift 50 pounds Swire Coca-Cola is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer that participates in the E-Verify program as required by law.
