EXPERIENCE REQURIED
5+ Years experience in 24X7 high-availability production environment
5+ Years of administrative experience in development tools, like build automation, continuous integration, code analysis tools, deployment scripting as well as application and infrastructure monitoring.
Unix/Linux operating system (including Shell, Perl, or Python).
Previous experience in release engineering and/or configuration management.
Excellent organizational skills, and oral and written communication skills.
Good analytical Skills / Troubleshooting skills
Able to coordinate with the other teams to analyze, fix, and track the issues to the closure.
Responsibility
Support the adoption of Continuous Delivery, continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development, and Agile best practices, processes, and tool across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Perform system build and release when assistance is required.
Ensure the uptime, availability, and proper performance of all components 24X7.
Ensure SLAs are followed for deployment and availability.
Monitor, report and track the issues for closure by coordinating with the required teams/customers.
Some after-hours work will be required from time to time.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Knowledge (and interest) of open-source build automation, continuous integration, and code analysis, and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes {EKS, AKS, OpenShift and On Premise} and the required automation for CI/CD using helm/other tools on both cloud and on-premises).
Knowledge of automated deployment scripting, tools, and techniques (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, etc.).
Unix/Linux operating system,
Knowledge of industry standard security controls and compliance policies such as SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, FedRamp, etc.
Scripting - Shell, Perl, or Python.
Able to work in shifts 24X7.
OTHER SKILLS WE'D APPRECIATE:
Administrative experience with Build Automation and Continuous Integration (CI) tools, such as Jenkins.
Experience in configuration and monitoring software like lcinga2.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Graduate in Engineering OR Masters in Computer Applications
