Position Summary: The Quality Technician I is responsible for testing products to ensure and maintain quality and reliability. This role requires achieving departmental requirements for safety, quality, product release, sample throughput, and cost efficiency. The technician ensures that goods are tested to meet release commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform product testing including functionality, cytotoxicity, plating efficiency, and various microbiology tests.
  • Maintain cell culture flasks and monitor the inventory of frozen vials, growth media, and supplements.
  • Conduct in-process testing, line clearances, and review of report forms.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of equipment and other testing and activities in support of the QC lab.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in cell cultures (must be clearly outlined in the resume).
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
