Full Job Description:
  • Speech Language Therapists Assistants for the Extended School Year Program for students with Autism, multiple disabilities, and other health impairments. Employees will follow documented treatment plans/ protocols developed by supervising SLP/ document student performance/ prepare charts, records and graphs/ assist with informal documentation/ assist with clerical duties/ collect data for maintenance of skills. Itinerant schedule serving students in multiple center-based, community based and home-based locations.
Essential Functions:
  • Effectively deliver curriculum based on needs specified in Individual Educational Plans.
  • Observes, evaluates and prepares reports on progress of students.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues on IU and district initiatives.
  • High level organization and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinking in the delivery of services to students.
Other Duties:

Level of Degree:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience working with students with Autism, life skills, multiple disabilities and/or other health impairments.
  • Experience working in educational settings with professional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow Supervisor's instructions.
