Job Description

The Merchandising Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the project management of all merchandising initiatives and calendar, helping to deliver on Vuori's product strategy and the strategic growth goals of the Merchandising department. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Merchandising Operations and will work closely with the core Merchandising team, and cross-functional partners focused on Design, Product Development, Planning, Marketing, Ecommerce and Stores. This person has experience with project management and will help play a supporting role in the facilitation, planning and implementation of projects and strategic initiatives for the Merchandising team while ensure the execution and alignment of the Merchandising process across all departments.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:
  • Merchandising team roles & responsibilities scoping. Support with the facilitation, implementation and rollout to cross-functional teams
  • Support in managing Merchandising internal team calendar. This includes calendar maintenance, scheduling monthly team meetings and seasonal merchandising owned milestones, creating agendas and prepping meeting setup
  • Partner with Director, Product to Market calendar on navigating calendar shifts and finding solutions to deliver on time milestone execution by the Merchandising team
  • Develop Key Milestone Briefs/One-Pagers in partnership with the Operations team
  • Support the implementation of new tools and software systems
  • Partner with the Operations team to define and document milestone meeting processes that support Seasonal Key Milestones
  • Help with organizing and planning team events for the Merchandising team
Who you are:
  • 2+ years merchandising and/or project management experience in specialty retail apparel brands
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong group facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and relationship management. Demonstrated ability to negotiate
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong understanding of apparel Merchandising
  • Experience delivering high growth at the brand or category level
  • Experience using all Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), Lucid, Smartsheet, Adobe Illustrator. PLM experience a plus

The salary range for this role is $70,000 per year - $80,000 per year.
