Financial Analyst, Full-Time

Accupac is hiring for a full-time financial analyst to join our team at our Mainland, PA. location.

Basic Job Functions:

The Financial Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of FP&A and improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data. Gathers historical data to compare budgets with actual expenses.

Essential Functions of the Job:

    • Conducts variance analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks.
    • Assists in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
    • Completes reconciliations as needed.
    • Monitors and tracks customer profitability.
    • Supports the continued development of a comprehensive commercial forecast with the sales and S&OP teams.
    • Supports the development of plant and departmental reporting.
    • Develops and maintains cost standards for products.
    • Analyzes cost of material and labor to determine opportunities and methods for reduction of production and inventory costs.
    • Analyzes and reconciles inventory transactions for accuracy and completeness in support of monthly financial reporting, including calculating for inventory reserve.
    • Supports budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
    • Assists in the review of process improvement changes and the development of streamlined reports with ongoing projects.


Minimum Requirements of the Job:
  • 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting function, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical skills; strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
  • Knowledge or experience in using sound judgement within broadly defined practices and policies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.


Physical Requirements:
  • Able to operate computer and related peripherals.
  • Able to sit for 80-90% of the workday.
  • Able to lift and or carry items up to 20 pounds.
  • Able to hear and execute clear speech in person and over the telephone.
  • Able to hear telephones ring, alarms sound, etc. through ambient noise and everyday conversation.


Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Travel: No

Education and/or Experience: Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related and 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, accounting, finance, or a related field.
