Senior ECAD Board Layout Engineer

  • Create the PCB, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and Schematic drawings for suppliers
  • Utilize software such as Siemens: Xpedition Enterprise and DownStream Technologies: BluePrint-PCB to complete design layouts including Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies
  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure design requirements are captured and align with cost, cycle time, and producibility goals

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience
  • Prior work history with PCB manufacturing, CCA manufacturing principles, RF layout, and experience with Rigid, Flex, or Rigid-Flex boards
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Working knowledge of Analog, Digital, RF, Power, and mixed technology
  • Technical PCB design skills using the Siemens design toolset
  • Experience with Valor NPI, Design for Manufacturing rule sets, and other Design Rule Checking software
  • Understanding of drawings related to PCB's and CCA's, familiarity with military and commercial design standards, and GD&T techniques
  • Ability to work extended hours as required to complete assigned tasks
This is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ.
